Allan McDougall


Allan McDougall was an Australian politician. Born in Sydney, he received a primary education before becoming an apprentice boilermaker. He worked on the dockyards and became secretary of the Boilermakers Union. In 1910, he was elected to the Australian Senate as a member of the Labor Party. He was defeated in 1919, but was reelected in 1922. However, he died in 1924.
